CTTI received two awards in 2010 from the Greater Baton Rouge
Industrial Alliance (GBRIA).
CTTI has
taken the high road in safety concerns - elevating it to the primary and
consistent concern for all projects. For their efforts in 2010, CTTI received
two awards from GBRIA. The FIRST PLACE AWARD recognizes the successful safety
record for its work on Dow Chemicals Cooling System. Dow Chemical was
instrumental in recommending CTTI for this award, and the Hal G. Ginn award -
the most prestigious safety award in the industry. |
These
awards serve not as a resting place for CTTI's safety team, but only as
benchmarks for future endeavors. CTTI will never rest on its
laurels! |
About the Award: The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA),
Inc. Contractor Safety award program was established in 1996 under the
leadership of Hal G. Ginn, Plant Manger of DSM Copolymer at the time in an
effort to recognize excellent safety performance by contractors working in
industrial facilities. Ginn played an instrumental role as the chairman of
GBRIA in raising safety standards and expectations in industry in the area. The
winning companies each year have demonstrated a level of safety excellence that
includes thousands of hours worked without injury, a commitment by management
to educate workers, and a culture where accidents do not happen. (From the
